Most poker rooms make you deposit.
I haven't played it myself, but Paradise Poker does a free 1 million dollar tourney. basically, you get a free entry every day and you win a spot into a satellite that can win you a spot in the million dollar tourney.
I think they also have another freeroll where you can win $5000 to spend in five hours, or something like that.
